"When we all get to heaven..."
Yesterday our church service was about Heaven. What an amazing service. All I could think about was the song we use to sing at my home church..."When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we'll sing and shout the jubilee..."
When I sing this song I think of my dear loved one Nelda Hayes. There is a part in the song that says "....there be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear, no more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eye...." She is a wonderful Christian, God fearing woman who has been through so much pain and taught me so much through her journey. I long for the day when she is pain free and unfortunately for me and my earthly desires I know when that day will be. She does not take pain meds because she says they make her too loopy :) See, sometimes when I call her she tells me she has been crying all day with her "dang ole arm." She has RSD in one of her hands/arms, along with other health issues. I hate that she is always in pain, hate it. I so want her to be pain free! So this song gives me hope for her to be pain free!

Jeremy Powell
I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all that prayed for our pastor, Jeremy Powell. As of last night he is at home with his wife and daughters after 17 days.
He still has more healing to do from the surgery but all is well right now.
Thanks again and God Bless!

"...when I call on Jesus, all things are possible..."
Glory to God!! Jack's report came back great. He has some fluid in the area where the tumor once was, but that is to be expected as the body readjusts to this void. The doctors were not alarmed by this whatsoever. They will continue to monitor this fluid buildup and his next MRI is scheduled for May 19th.
Praise the Lord!!!
Thank you for your continuous prayers for Jack. I so love this little guy!

Jack Update
Ok, I really need my prayer warriors again. Tomorrow morning at 7am Jack will have a follow up MRI. He is doing great! His parents are worried.
Please pray that God will continue to show us his power and boldness by nothing showing up on the MRI. I so believe he has big things in store for Jack. Jack is so young but through him so many people, including my selft, have felt the hand of God working.
So tomorrow morning at 7am please pray for good results!

Blake's First Birthday
I can't believe Blake is 1. This past year has gone by so fast. Unfortunately I can't say that I am sad this past year is over. Too much happened. Now it is time to be healthy and enjoy what 2009 has to offer.
Blake had a blast at his first birthday party. We had 68 people at our house to celebrate his birthday. Yes,that is A LOT of people. More that I was expecting but I won't vent about that today.
Enjoy the pictures!
